Welcome to a new weekly feature, aptly titled ‘Whaddaya buyin’?’ – our weekly gaming release table for those looking to get a quick look into the upcoming week of gaming titles. As known, our podcast Operation PlayStation has ‘The Drop’, named after the PlayStation Blog’s notorious release post that has been retired for quite sometime, however we’re looking to cover weekly releases across the board from all major publications, on all major platforms. It’s a niche week. While jam packed for some, it’s more-or-less one that will have enthusiasts of several different genre’s held over for some time. Personally, the outstanding title that has me excited is the reimagining of the old arcade classic, Pong. Qomp2 is a sequel to an indie hit, that tells the tale of a desperate pong ball stuck in a shell, trying its best to escape its endless escapade through dark and dreary maps. Yes, it’s a deep as I described… whodathunkit? The title releases on February 20 for all major platforms.
The Backlog - Our Recommendations
Now Available:
- Persona 3: Reload (PS5, PS4, XBOX, PC)
A new year means a fresh backlog? I mean no, but our backlog is refreshing its list, as we highly recommend you all check out Persona 3: Reload; A remake/re-imagining of the classic Persona 3 with updated visuals, mechanics and modernised concepts for all current generation platforms. Our review of the title is coming this week!
